Edit Call Information form
Clicking the Edit button opens an Edit Call Information form:
Change the caller's name
You can change the caller's name without adding the caller to your contacts list. If you change the name of the caller, PhoneTray will remember the name you entered and use it for all calls from that number. It will also update the Calls screen to use the same name for the previous calls from that number.
Associate the call with one of your contacts
You can associate the call with one of your contacts by choosing a contact from Contact dropdown list:
Warning:
However, this phone number will not be added automatically to the list of the contact's phone numbers. This is useful when your contact calls from one of his / her non-regular phone numbers, e.g. payphone or someone else's phone. If you want to permanently associate this phone number with the contact, you will have to add this number to the list of your contact's phone numbers. You can do that by editing contact and adding the phone number to the list of phone numbers for that contact.
Add notes
You can add a note for the call in the Notes field. The note you added will be shown in the Notes column on the Calls screen. If the note is too large and doesn't fit into the space allowed for the Notes column, you can hover your mouse over the Notes field to read the complete note:
